VOIS (Vodafone Intelligent Solutions) is seeking an Engineer - Unified Communications Operations to provide comprehensive 2nd line operational support for Cisco Unified Communications and Voice over IP solutions in a global enterprise environment.
Requirements
- Deliver end-to-end 2nd line technical support for unified communications services across data centre infrastructures.
- Support technologies including Cisco Nexus 7K & 9K, Cisco ASA and Firepower firewalls, Catalyst switches, and routers.
- Manage and coordinate vendor interactions to ensure timely issue resolution.
- Resolve customer-reported incidents in line with defined service level agreements.
- Contribute to planning, assessment, and execution of change requests.
- Onboard new customers within the production environment, including configuration, testing, and updating inventory systems.
- Generate and analyse signalling load and traffic reports to enhance performance KPIs.
- Oversee technical service ramp-up activities such as installation, configuration, and platform setup tasks.
- Maintain and enhance knowledge bases and inventory databases for operational accuracy.
