The Recovery Coach at Voices of Hope plays a crucial role in supporting individuals on their journey of recovery from substance use disorders, providing peer-based recovery support and helping participants set and achieve personal goals.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Lived experience with substance use recovery is highly preferred.
- Additional certifications in peer support or recovery coaching are advantageous.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Understanding of substance use disorders, recovery principles, and available community resources.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must be 18 or older.
- Be able to complete I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification.
- Be able to complete a background check (prior convictions may not necessarily disqualify an applicant).
- If position requires transporting participants or driving a company vehicle: Possess a valid Kentucky driver's license with no health problems that limit or restrict driver's licensing.
- Minimum of five years driving experience with no more than two at-fault accidents or six or more deficiency points in the past three years.
- Submit a Motor Vehicle Release Form.
