Job Description
Volkert is searching for an experienced Bridge Inspection Team Leader to join our Mid Atlantic team located in Springfield, VA. The successful candidate will have experience in conducting field inspections and preparing inspection reports, with a strong working knowledge of NBIS and advanced writing and communication skills.
Requirements
- Performing on-site safety inspections of bridges and culverts
- Leading a team of inspectors in the field during inspections
- Scheduling and coordinating inspections, personnel, vendors, stakeholders, maintenance of traffic
- Operating access equipment and other equipment to perform inspections
- Reviewing and updating bridge inspection reports
- Developing repair recommendations
- Reviewing structural analysis data
