VOA is seeking compassionate Respite Support Staff to join their Hope House program, providing short-term supportive stays for adults experiencing homelessness. This role is ideal for customer service, hospitality, or concierge-style environments and involves serving as a primary point of contact, offering assistance, information, and guidance to guests.
Requirements
- Eligible to apply for an Agency Affiliated Counselor (AAC) credential within 30 days of hire
- Willing to obtain (with VOA support): CPR/BLS, First Aid, and Food Handler’s Permit
- Strong communication skills and a calm, respectful presence
- Ability to work independently, particularly in evening or overnight shifts
- Must be 21 years or older and able to pass a background check
