Case Manager

Volunteers of America–Greater New York is seeking a Case Manager to work with clients experiencing homelessness, assess their strengths and needs, plan a course of action, link them to services, counsel them, and monitor progress. The Case Manager will work at Newton Hotel Family Shelter in Manhattan.

Requirements

• Associates Degree or 60 college credits courses in Human Services field or High School Diploma or GED with 2 year of relevant shelter experience
• Bilingual Fluency in Spanish required, with the ability to communicate professionally (both oral and written) with Spanish-speaking clients
• Demonstrated ability in verbal and written communication, including basic computer skills
