Case Manager

Volunteers of America–Greater New York is a leading anti-poverty organization seeking a Case Manager to work with clients, assess their strengths and needs, plan a course of action, and link them to services. The Case Manager will work with the client to achieve successful outcomes, including supervision of direct care staff. The position is located at the Schwartz Men’s Shelter in Wards Island, NY 10035.

Requirements

• Associates Degree or 60 college credits courses in Human Services field or High School Diploma or GED with 2 years of relevant shelter experience.
• Demonstrated ability in verbal and written communication, including basic computer skills.
