Front Desk Monitor

Volunteers of America-Greater New York is an anti-poverty organization working to end homelessness in the New York area by 2050. We are in search of a Front Desk Monitor to answer telephone calls, receive and assist visitors, and aid residents at Safe Dwelling II, a facility that provides comprehensive services and safe, anonymous housing for individuals and their children experiencing domestic violence.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Polite and pleasant manner
• Ability to operate a busy front desk/security operation
• Diverse tasks with ease and maintain confidentiality
• Certifications: CPR/First Aid, Narcan, Fire & Emergency Drill Conductor (F-07)
• Related experience with domestic violence
