Residential Counselor

Volunteers of America-Greater New York is seeking a Residential Counselor to assist in case management and treatment plan implementation for consumers in a residential health care facility. The Residential Counselor provides direct care services, including transportation, support, teaching, crisis intervention, and case management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mental health, health, or human services related discipline
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• At least one year of related work or life experience
• High school diploma or equivalent with four years of related work experience
