Residential Counselor

Volunteers of America–Greater New York is seeking a Residential Counselor to assist in case management and treatment plan implementation for consumers with psychiatric disabilities and co-occurring medical issues. The counselor will provide direct care services, including transportation, support, teaching, crisis intervention, and case management, in a residential health-care facility in Plainfield, New Jersey.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mental health, health, or human services related discipline
• License as a registered nurse
• Combination of college and work/life experience
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
