Registered Practical Nurse (RPN), Visiting Nursing - Part-time 0.4

The Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) provides client care in the client's own home, providing physical assessments, symptom control support, palliative care, rehabilitation therapy, wound care, education, and counseling. The nurse must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have strong communication and interpersonal skills. The nurse must also have the ability to problem solve and adapt to nursing interventions as appropriate. Additionally, the nurse must have a valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance, and be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Requirements

• License as a Registered or Licensed Practical Nurse in the province of practice
• Clinical practice experience is an asset
• Experience in community health is an asset
