Job Description
The Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) provides client care in the client’s own home, including physical assessments, symptom control support, palliative care, rehabilitation therapy, wound care, education, and counselling. The RPN is responsible for managing and facilitating care via an established nursing care plan and evaluating client responses to interventions.
Requirements
- License as a Registered or Licensed Practical Nurse in the province of practice
- Additional degrees or certificates may be required for positions requiring expertise in a specific field of clinical practice
- Clinical practice experience is an asset
- Experience in community health is an asset
