Expert Legal Counsel - Product

We are looking for a full-time expert legal counsel to provide legal support to our global Carrier Management Team.

Requirements

• Provide specialist legal advice to developers/engineers/architects/product managers/product marketing managers/corporate marketing/events
• Develop and support customer-friendly, compliant, and risk-appropriate templates for products and solutions
• Serve as the Legal Department’s subject matter expert in relation to Vonage products
• Collaborate with product and legal/compliance to ensure E2E support for Vonage products and services
• Provide legal guidance on risk-mitigation and disputes relating to traffic that is phishing or smishing-related, unsolicited, artificially-inflated or otherwise fraudulent or deceptive
• Negotiate with major MNOs and MVNOs and other sophisticated suppliers
• Work with internal teams to mitigate the risk to the business and develop practical solutions and strategies to ensure the effective management of our suppliers, carrier partners, and aggregators
• Enhance and standardize contract templates, processes, and procedures for a global framework
