Financial Analyst- SaaS scale-up

Vortexa is a fast-growing international technology business founded to solve the immense information gap that exists in the energy industry. We are looking for a motivated and analytically minded Finance Analyst to join our Finance team within a fast‐growing SaaS business.

Requirements

• Prepare stakeholder reporting for Management, Executives and Board materials to provide financial insight on business performance.
• Support month-end financial processes and perform monthly P&L and Cashflow variance analysis for Actuals vs Forecast.
• Contribute to the annual Budgeting process and quarterly Forecasting process, including driving the financial model and performing scenario analysis.
• Ownership of ARR reporting, ensuring data accuracy and proper categorisation (New Business, Expansion, Upsell, Churn).
• Monthly tracking and reporting on KPIs and Metrics, including ARR metrics (GRR, NRR), Magic number, CAC and CAC payback.
• Perform quarterly Sales Commission calculations linked to ARR reporting.
• Support the preparation of the annual R&D Tax Incentive claim, including ongoing analysis and monitoring of R&D spend
• Business Partner with Sales, Marketing, R&D and Operations to understand drivers behind performance and support commercial decision-making.
• Support the upcoming Series D funding round, including assisting with financial modelling and metrics, preparation of Data Room and handling Q&A requests.
• Support process improvements to increase accuracy, automation and efficiency of financial reporting.
• Support ad-hoc cross-functional financial analysis requests.
