The Regional Business Development Director is responsible for the long-term sales growth strategy and sales performance for the region, defining an overall approach by aligning customer needs and VSE’s business objectives, and leading a team of directors and managers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, aviation or international relations.
- 10 years of direct sales experience within our industry.
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership role.
- Personnel management experience.
- 5+ years of analytical experience.
- Demonstrated ability to drive customer outcomes, and strong understanding of how business groups inter-relate.
- Experience working in one or more Emerging Markets.
- Strong business acumen for uncovering, evaluating, growing and closing sales opportunities within a dynamic and extremely time sensitive environment.
- Demonstrated track record in developing and rolling out sales offerings.
- Relevant language skills.
- Articulate verbal communication, professional business writing and presentation skills.
