Requirements
- In-depth experience in road safety engineering
- Understanding of road crashes, safety analysis and the development of effective interventions
- Strong problemâsolving skills and a practical, solutionsâfocused mindset
- Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
- Clear communication skills and confidence engaging with stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience delivering safety outcomes on capital projects
- Stronger leadership and influencing capability within regional contexts
- Knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao MÄori, promote tikanga and te reo MÄori, and an appreciation of Te Tiriti o Waitangi as it applies in the public service
