We are looking for an Appointee & Deputyship Officer to join our friendly, supportive Client Welfare Services Team. The role requires providing an efficient and effective financial administration support service for clients who fall within the Adult Social Care directorate.
Requirements
- Excellent organisational and customer care skills
- Ability to manage competing demands and workloads
- Good understanding of the welfare and benefits system
- Training will be provided
- Completion of regular reviews of client’s finances
- Ability to pay invoices and provide personal monies in a timely accurate manner
- Ability to contact providers such as utility companies, care providers, housing organisations, and liaise with Adult Social Care colleagues and the client’s wider support network
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and provide advice and/or information in accurate spoken English
