Field Quality Coordinator

Walters Group is a family-owned steel construction company seeking a Field Quality Coordinator to develop Field Quality Plans and Installation ITPs, manage Site NCRs, and support field team with interpretation of drawings and quality requirements.

Requirements

• College diploma or degree in Engineering or similar
• 1-3+ years' experience in the Structural Steel Industry and site installation
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (CSA S16, W47/W59)
• Demonstrated experience in Quality Management and coordination of a Quality System
• Knowledge of steel fabrication concepts, practices, and procedures
• Ability to read structural and fabrication drawings
• Ability to read field erection drawings
• Leadership and Interpersonal Skills
• Communication Skills – Both Written, Verbal, Listening
• Problem Solving and Decision-Making Skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite of Products, AutoCAD, and other drafting software (i.e. Tekla, Trimble)
