Walters Group is a family-owned steel construction company seeking a Field Quality Coordinator to develop Field Quality Plans and Installation ITPs, manage Site NCRs, and support field team with interpretation of drawings and quality requirements.
Requirements
- College diploma or degree in Engineering or similar
- 1-3+ years' experience in the Structural Steel Industry and site installation
- Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (CSA S16, W47/W59)
- Demonstrated experience in Quality Management and coordination of a Quality System
- Knowledge of steel fabrication concepts, practices, and procedures
- Ability to read structural and fabrication drawings
- Ability to read field erection drawings
- Leadership and Interpersonal Skills
- Communication Skills β Both Written, Verbal, Listening
- Problem Solving and Decision-Making Skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite of Products, AutoCAD, and other drafting software (i.e. Tekla, Trimble)
