Software and Controls Engineer

We're looking for a Software and Controls Engineer to join our Manufacturing site in Eastwood, Nottinghamshire. As a key member of the engineering department, you'll be responsible for automation and controls onsite, maintaining software, hardware infrastructure, and control systems.

Requirements

• Formal electrical automation training
• Experience in fault finding and maintaining existing control systems, preferably with Siemens, Schneider, or Allen Bradley
• Experience of software development and common programming languages
• Knowledge of communication protocols and control networks
• Knowledge and experience of project implementation in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge and experience of safety-related parts of control systems
• H&S/Food Safety systems & legislation knowledge
