Workshop Quality Engineer

We are looking for a Workshop Quality Engineer to join our Wärtsilä Hungary team. The role will involve providing expertise to the local team to achieve high internal quality levels in the workshop. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of engine parts overhauling, engineering & measurement tools usage, and experience in MS Office programs. The role will involve continuous monitoring of quality, direct communication with the workshop manager, and determination of equipment needs.

Requirements

• University Degree in Mechanical or Technical Engineering
• 5-10 years of professional experience in Engine overhauling / Marine engineer degree is preferred
• Technical drawing (reading and drawing skills) and effective communication skills
• Fluent level of English and Hungarian
• Valid right to work in Hungary
• Good knowledge of MS Office & SAP
• Planning and organizational skills
• Problem solver and efficient decision maker
• Driving license is necessary for this role
