Call Center Representative

We are seeking a Call Center Representative to manage a high volume of incoming calls in a timely, professional manner using the patient first ethic. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in customer service, a high school graduate or GED, and strong communication and ethical conduct skills.

Requirements

• Manage a high volume of incoming calls in a timely, professional manner
• Screen calls to assess patient needs and direct patients to the appropriate clinic
• Schedule appointments for primary care, specialty, and surgical clinics
• Collect and verify insurance information for patients, dependents, and guarantors
• Utilize the Epic system to update demographic information, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and gather other information
• Refer patients to medical staff for medical advice
• Answer general questions and provide information to patients
