To learn to perform nerve conduction studies and electromyography, report results and assist in general running of lab and electrodiagnostic studies.

Requirements

Perform general duties of copying, filing, fax and mailing of reports to appropriate individuals.
Perform general upkeep of laboratory and equipment.
Assist in performing nerve conduction studies routinely performed in the laboratory and assist in electrodiagnostic studies as required, under supervision of chief technician or director of laboratory.
Report findings and calculate nerve conduction values.
Perform quantitative sensory testing under supervision.
Schedule patients for testing and bookkeeping i.e. (billing information, history).
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
