Senior Chemical Process Engineer

Role Overview

Join our Chemical Engineering Team to support the engineering, productivity, and enhancement of our new state-of-the-art chemical manufacturing plant. Develop deep technical expertise in our operations work on designing, implementing, and continuously improving our manufacturing processes and equipment.

What You Will Do

Troubleshoot and provide technical support for the daily operation of the manufacturing plant, lead projects to improve manufacturing processes, work with the internal Tech Support group to transfer and scale up products, and execute commissioning, startup, and validation of chemical process equipment systems.

The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of experience in the chemical manufacturing industry, a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, and knowledge of batch reaction chemistry, solids filtration, powder drying processes, and distillation processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering
• 4-7 years of experience in the chemical manufacturing industry
• Knowledge of batch reaction chemistry, solids filtration, powder drying processes, and distillation processes
• Ability to work 12-hour shift on FRIDAY-SATURDAY-SUNDAY and/or SATURDAY-SUNDAY-MONDAY
• Independent, motivated, flexible, and quick learner with methodical thinking to troubleshoot problems of moderate to high complexity
• Good oral & written communications skills
