Project Architect

WATG is hiring a Project Architect for our office in New York. The Project Architect is responsible for project deliverables, technical content of documents, implementation of comments, QA reviews, and coordination of disciplines, including consultants.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
• Professional license required
• Environmental accreditation preferred
• 10+ years of experience designing small to mid-size architectural projects
• Proficiency in technical skills, including AutoCAD, and 3D modeling software, like Rhino and SketchUp
• Strong proficiency in Revit required
• Sketching skills required
• Knowledge of architectural building systems, integrated design, trends, construction methodology, QA/QC process, CA process, and building codes
• Experienced in client management and negotiations
• Effective project management skills, keeping within established deadlines and budgets
• Works successfully in a team environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

Benefits

• Salary range: $100,000-$120,000 per year
