Job Description
This role is for a Mid-Level Backend Engineer with experience in Node.js, backend API development, and cloud infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating scalable backend services, working with modern cloud platforms, and integrating US fintech APIs.
Requirements
- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Node.js and Python
- Create scalable RESTful APIs and microservices
- Manage databases including MongoDB and other backend data stores
- Implement and oversee CI/CD pipelines
- Deploy and maintain containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS)
- Operate within AWS and/or GCP cloud environments
- Integrate US fintech APIs including Plaid, payment gateways, banking APIs, etc.
- Ensure backend systems deliver high performance, scalability, and security
- Collaborate closely with product, frontend, and DevOps teams
- Participate actively in code reviews and uphold best engineering practices
