Job Description
WelbeHealth PACE helps seniors stay in their homes and communities by providing comprehensive medical care and community-based services. The Personal Care Assistant provides safe delivery of personal care services to participants at the WelbeHealth day center, collaborating with different departments and participating in care planning.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certification of Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant in California (CNA) preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience providing personal care to seniors
- CA Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of hire
- Must obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire and maintain certification thereafter; CPR and First Aid certification upon hire preferred
