Job Description
WeldFit is seeking a CNC Machinist to operate CNC Mills in the shop, machine parts to specifications, and perform various tasks related to machining and safety.
Requirements
- Machine parts to specifications using machines such as: Horizontal Boring Mills and Vertical Turning Lathes
- Able to understand and edit G code and M code programs
- Understand speeds and feeds for machining and proper set ups
- Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- Set up, adjust and operate all machines
- Check work pieces to ensure alignment and materials onto machines
- Clean lubricate machines as needed
- Monitor the feed and speed of the manual and CNC machines
- Work and think safety at all times
