Welevel is an innovative game studio in Munich seeking a World Artist to lead the visual direction of their AAA survival game, Solid River. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience as a World Artist, expertise in Unreal Engine and procedural workflows, and a strong artistic sense.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a World Artist in game development
- Deep expertise in Unreal Engine and procedural workflows
- Strong understanding of world-building techniques, landscape generation, and instancing methods
- Experience developing tools and pipelines for terrain, foliage, settlements, and asset scattering
- Solid programming/scripting skills in C++, or HLSL
- Familiarity with shader development and performance optimization for large environments
