Dean of Religious and Spiritual Life

Wellesley College seeks a visionary leader to serve as the Dean of Religious and Spiritual Life, overseeing the office of religious and spiritual life, leading a team of chaplains, and fostering greater understanding and connections between intellectual life, religious and spiritual life, and wellness within the residential campus community.

Requirements

• Accredited M.Div. or equivalent academic credentials and training in religious leadership, ordination (when possible), and extensive experience in a college or university setting
• Pastoral skills, theological depth, intellectual acumen, knowledge of student affairs, and demonstrated leadership within a particular religious tradition
• Strong administrative and team management skills, excellent public speaking and oratory skills, and a deep understanding of the educational value of a diverse university community
