Lead Salesforce Software Engineer

Wellington Management is seeking a Lead Salesforce Software Engineer to serve as a senior, hands-on technical leader with architectural ownership for Salesforce solutions. The role will partner closely with lead architects, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality Salesforce solutions that support Wellington's global client and distribution capabilities.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, including substantial experience designing and delivering solutions on Salesforce Sales Cloud and the Force.com platform.
• Proven experience operating as a lead-level individual contributor, with responsibility for architectural decisions and technical direction.
• Background in financial services or investment management, with exposure to complex business processes and regulatory considerations.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, including both declarative tools and custom development.
• Deep technical expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, integrations (REST/SOAP), data modeling, and platform security.
