The Receptionist will answer phones, greet clients, schedule appointments, maintain office appearance, and perform various clerical tasks including filing, copying, shredding, etc.
Requirements
- High School diploma
- Dental Assisting Certificate preferred
- One year experience in a dental office OR a combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing and demonstrate a high level of listening skills.
- Fluency in additional languages preferred.
- Computer literacy, including Word and Excel and database software experience a plus.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule when needed.
- Efficient time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and organizational needs.
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to use standard office equipment including phone, fax, copier.
- Computer (PC) literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook email and database software.
- Commitment to HIPAA and ability to abide by standards of professional ethics and maintain confidentiality.
- Adherence to infection control procedures, including but not limited to, standard precautions of temperature monitoring, hand washing, symptom self-monitoring, masking and social distancing.
- Assist and support the Center/Department/Program to meet standards of High Reliability.
