The Front Desk Receptionist supports WellSpace Health Recuperative Care Program, a short-term residential facility for unhoused patients recovering from illness. The Receptionist greets and welcomes patients and visitors warmly. The Front Desk Receptionist supports the program by collecting important data, filing documents, cleaning, ensuring patients sign in and out of facility, gather needed information from updated census, and provide first line customer service to patients and community partners.
Requirements
- High School diploma required.
- One (1) year experience as an administrative assistant OR an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
- Strong customer service experience including active listening, problem solving, and the ability to remain calm in emotional or stressful situations.
- Efficient time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and organizational needs.
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to use standard office equipment including phone, fax, copier.
- Computer (PC) literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook email and database software.
- Must be able to work collaboratively with others in a team environment, respecting and valuing the perspectives and experiences of others.
- Able to maintain and understand appropriate roles, and boundaries among clients, peers, and WellSpace partners/stakeholders.
- Able to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain detailed, statistical records.
- Demonstrated commitment to the provision of services for the underserved and sensitivity working with a variety of people from low-income populations, with diverse educational, lifestyle, ethnic, and cultural origins; disabled, homeless, substance users, HIV (AIDS) infected, and/or physiologically impaired.
- Commitment to HIPAA and ability to abide by standards of professional ethics and maintain confidentiality.
- Adherence to infection control procedures, including but not limited to, standard precautions of temperature monitoring, hand washing, symptom self-monitoring, masking and social distancing.
- Assist and support the Center/Department/Program to meet standards of High Reliability.
