Welltower is seeking an Assistant Manager for Senior Housing Property Accounting to manage property-level cash activity, ensure accurate financial reporting, and lead the accounting team.
Requirements
- 7+ years of accounting experience, including senior housing or real estate property accounting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong experience with cash management, bank reconciliations, intercompany activity, and property-level financial reporting
- Experience operating in a SOX-controlled environment with knowledge of GAAP related to real estate accounting
- Experience supporting external audits and working directly with auditors
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop accounting professionals
- CPA or equivalent professional certification
- Experience with public REITs or other large, complex real estate organizations
- Familiarity with corporate treasury functions, including cash forecasting and liquidity management
- Experience working with large ERP systems and property accounting platforms
