Deckhand

Deckhands are responsible for the basic maintenance and operational duties of a boat, including cleaning, overseeing operations, and assisting with loading/dischargeings. They perform a variety of tasks both indoors and outdoors, adhering to safety regulations and Wepfer Marine, Inc. policies. The position involves heavy lifting and assisting with various tasks including painting, chipping, rigging, and maintenance.

Requirements

• Assist in loading and discharging products at ports.
• Build and break tow by using lines, wires, ratchets, and stationary winches.
• Perform standard housekeeping duties.
• Perform tasks such as painting, chipping, and maintaining vessel and barge.
• Lift or move heavy objects.
• Must be knowledgeable and compliant with Wepfer Marine, Inc. policies and regulations.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening.
