Assistant/Associate Professor of Educational Leadership-Ed.D.Program

West Texas A&M University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor in the Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in the Educational Leadership program. The position is a full-time, 11-month appointment beginning September 1, 2026, with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

• Terminal degree (Ed.D. or Ph.D.) in Educational Leadership or a closely related field
• Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in EC–12 or higher education leadership positions or related leadership contexts
• Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and service
• Evidence of an active research agenda and scholarly productivity appropriate to rank
• Demonstrated strong work ethic and commitment to doctoral education
• Proven ability to effectively mentor doctoral students, particularly in empirical research
• Demonstrated strong instructional effectiveness in fully online learning environments
