Assistant Professor of Counseling (Clinical Coordinator)

West Texas A&M University is seeking a probationary nine-month tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor of Counseling to teach counseling courses and supervise clinical mental health students. The successful candidate will also advise and recruit students, work with public/private schools and mental health agencies, and contribute to a collaborative work environment.

Requirements

• Earned doctoral degree in counselor education from a CACREP-accredited program
• Experience supervising counselors-in-training throughout practicum and internship
• Texas Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or LPC-Associate, or eligible
• Leadership abilities and experience developing, implementing, and evaluating clinical procedures for counselors-in-training
