We are seeking an Instructor to teach full-time in person at a college or high school campus location. The position is an emergency appointment with a possibility of a permanent position contingent upon meeting additional recruitment requirements. The Instructor will be responsible for teaching, curriculum development, and student advising.
Requirements
- Teach 15 equated load hours/semester
- Design standards-based instructional content and delivery systems
- Develop and grade assignments, projects, and exams
- Maintain accurate attendance rosters and submit student grades
- Deliver courses at all program levels
- Ensure safe operation and usage of all program related equipment and supplies
- Maintain a minimum of 5 office hours/week/semester
- Participate in meetings, activities, and gatherings
- Support student learning and engagement
- Assist with promotion and student advising
- Use a student-centered focus to engage in regular data collection and program review/assessment
