Job Description
Join Westinghouse Electric Company, a leading provider of nuclear energy expertise and innovation, as a Civil & Structural Eng II. Deliver engineering tasks independently or as a key contributor within a multidisciplinary team, representing CS&A engineering efforts across large, complex projects or multiple medium-sized ones. Report to the Project Engineering Manager and work with the Principal Engineer, while mentoring junior engineers and designers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil, Structural or Architecture Engineering
- Incorporated Engineer (IEng) with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) is desired
- Minimum 5 years of experience in CS&A engineering, ideally within the nuclear sector
- Understanding of engineering codes, standards, and regulations, including CDM
- Proven expertise in CS&A design principles and technical documentation
- Experience in civil construction and construction management
- Knowledge of seismic, blast, and impact load design
- Familiarity with main systems and technical equipment associated to large facilities and production plants
