Job Description
Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Civil Structural Engineer to join their engineering department in San Sebastián de los Reyes, Spain. This full-time hybrid role involves performing engineering tasks related to design, analysis, and documentation for projects in the nuclear energy sector. The engineer will collaborate with senior engineers and report to the Structural Design and Modules Manager. The role offers a mix of on-site and remote work.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering
- Registered member of the relevant professional association in Spain
- Eligibility to act as Design/Project Engineer
- 5+ years of experience in Civil or Mechanical-Structural Engineering
- Knowledge of structural Eurocodes and Spanish Structural Code
- Knowledge of Nuclear-related standards (ACI, AISC, ASME, NRC, and CSN)
- Knowledge of Engineering software tools (ANSYS, GTStrudl, or RFEM)
- Fluency in Spanish and English
