Project Sourcing Principal

As the APX Project Sourcing & Procurement Principal, you will manage the successful procurement of equipment that supports a manufacturing location, support several AP1000 New Plant Projects within the APX Supply Chain's Procurement Management portfolio.

Requirements

• Negotiate, place and administer purchase orders with suppliers.
• Lead decision-making, strategy implementation for procurement of components and equipment.
• Develop working relationships with suppliers and internal partners to maintain sources of supply.
• Identify standard engineering, quality and administrative issues, assisting with resolution to fulfill internal and external procurement requirements.
• Identify and obtain cost improvements of purchased materials and services.
• Maintain a comprehensive commodity strategy to improve Total Cost of Ownership, while ensuring supply continuity through identification and mitigation of current and emerging risks and opportunities.
