Requirements
- Negotiate, place and administer purchase orders with suppliers.
- Lead decision-making, strategy implementation for procurement of components and equipment.
- Lead regular supplier relationship management reviews with necessary and strategic suppliers, engaging teams and senior leadership.
- Develop working relationships with suppliers and internal partners to maintain sources of supply.
- Identify standard engineering, quality and administrative issues, assisting with resolution to fulfill internal and external procurement requirements.
- Identify and obtain cost improvements of purchased materials and services.
- Obtain training and acquire additional knowledge to ensure compliance with nuclear regulatory requirements and enhance personal growth.
- Coordinate, maintain, and expedite material deliveries to ensure you maintain manufacturing schedules.
- Develop procedures for corrective action programs.
- Interface between project teams including project management and engineering and the supply chain organization.
- Maintain a comprehensive commodity strategy to improve Total Cost of Ownership, while ensuring supply continuity through identification and mitigation of current and emerging risks and opportunities.
