Welder

Perform high-quality welding operations in a broad range of materials in all positions, both within the workshop environment and onsite, as part of the Main Workshops team at Westinghouse Electric Company.

Requirements

• 5 years+ experience working within high quality welding role.
• Pipe fitting experience/skills.
• Fabrication experience/skills e.g. development, rolling, pressing, marking out, drilling, punching etc.
• Familiarity with NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) processes.
• Time served apprenticeship in welding/fabrication (NVQ level 3 or equivalent).
• Hold/ have previously held BS EN ISO 9606 welder qualifications (or equivalent).
• Proven track record of producing welding work that meets quality requirements, specification and NDT acceptance criteria, including radiography.
• Capable of interpreting technical engineering drawings, welding symbols, and specifications.
