Job Description
Welder position at Westinghouse Electric Company's Monfalcone site, responsible for performing welding according to automatic and semi-automatic processes, record essential welding parameters, and detect malfunctions or defects. Ideal candidate has a technical vocational diploma and minimum 2 years of experience in a similar company. Availability to work on three shifts is required.
Requirements
- Perform welding following typical automatic processes such as SAW/ESW/GTAW HW using automatic welding equipment (brackets for automatic welding and robots).
- Record essential welding parameters through the welding monitoring shape.
- Check the correct preparation of components and their surfaces to be welded (and if necessary use machines to grind).
- Detect malfunctions of equipment or defects in materials and welds, notifying supervisors.
- Move components manually or using a mule or overhead crane.
