Join our team as an Exercise/Aquatic Specialist and bring movement, motivation, and joy to our residents through engaging fitness programming on land and in the water. In this part-time role, you will lead fun and inclusive fitness classes, design personalized fitness programs, and create a safe and welcoming environment in the pool and fitness areas.
Requirements
- Degree in Exercise Science, Sports Medicine, Therapeutic Recreation, or 3+ years of experience in fitness/wellness.
- Current CPR certification and ability to perform lifesaving techniques.
- Experience teaching both land and aquatic group fitness classes.
- Certification from ACSM, NASM, NSCA, ACE, or similar (personal trainer or group instructor).
- Comfort working with older adults and those with physical or cognitive impairments.
- Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a team-focused mindset.
