Executive Manager, GCR, Organisational Conflicts

Join Westpac as an Executive Manager – Global Control Room (Organisational Conflicts) and utilize your control room or conflicts experience to manage conflicts of interest in a fast-paced and changing environment. Manage conflicts of interest in a pivotal role, shaping Westpac's approach to complex organisational conflicts. This permanent full-time position places you at the centre of our compliance and risk efforts, working across teams to identify, assess, and manage conflicts of interest across the Westpac group globally.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in transactional conflicts management, with the ability to advise on complex deal structures and escalate risks with sound commercial judgement.
• Sound working knowledge of global research rules and regulations.
• Good understanding of debt products
• Strategic relationship-building skills, enabling you to influence senior stakeholders and embed conflict awareness across diverse business units.
• Analytical and data-driven mindset, with proficiency in Excel and a talent for turning conflict data into actionable insights and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and exceptional attention to detail with the ability to multitask, organise and prioritise.
• Agility and resilience, thriving in a fast-paced, evolving regulatory landscape while maintaining clarity and focus under pressure.
• Proactive leadership, with a passion for education and uplift—delivering training and driving continuous improvement in conflict management practices, including how AI can be utilised to enhance processes.
