You’ll work across teams to identify, assess, and manage conflicts of interest for the Westpac group globally.
Requirements
- Experience in conflicts management, with the ability to advise business stakeholders on mitigants and controls for various organisational conflicts
- Solid understanding of control governance and frameworks
- Prior experience in transactional conflicts and knowledge of global research regulations is advantageous but not essential
- Strategic relationship-building skills, enabling you to influence senior stakeholders and embed conflict awareness across diverse business units.
- Analytical and data-driven mindset, with proficiency in Excel and a talent for turning conflict data into actionable insights and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and exceptional attention to detail with the ability to multitask, organise and prioritise.
- Agility and resilience, thriving in a fast-paced, evolving regulatory landscape while maintaining clarity and focus under pressure.
- Proactive leadership, with a passion for education and uplift—delivering training and driving continuous improvement in conflict management practices, including how AI can be utilised to enhance processes.
