Job Description
We are looking for a Release Manager to support the Release Management lifecycle, including scheduling releases, coordinating between multiple squads, and deploying releases in line with agreed schedules. The successful candidate will have experience across projects and/or delivery of technology solutions in service delivery, project management or release management roles.
Requirements
- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent practical experience
- Demonstrated experience across projects and/or delivery of technology solutions in service delivery, project management or release management roles
- Experience supporting continuous improvement and uplift in tools and processes
- Experience working across Agile and waterfall delivery models and mindsets
- Working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle
- Experience supporting and coordinating teams
- Good understanding of application infrastructure, system architecture and operating systems
- Experience using tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Experience defining and measuring success using OKRs, KPIs or similar frameworks
- Previous banking domain experience is beneficial but not required
- A relentless passion for improvements, efficiencies, simplification and automation, reducing waste will increasing reliability
- Working experience with AI and automation tools
- Engineering mindset and curiosity
- Proven leadership experience
