Job Description
Join the team making a difference in the community! Medical Assistant provides clinical support, including initial preparation of the patient for examination/visit, assisting the provider during examinations, cleaning, stocking and maintenance of exam rooms, maintenance of diagnostic equipment, charting, and patient education.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Successful completion of a medical assistant training program at an accredited institution
- Basic life support certification
- Experience using Microsoft Office software and electronic medical record software
- Availability to work evenings until 9 p.m. and occasional Saturday morning
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel independently between sites
