Assistant Professor- Health Sciences (Paramedicine)

The Department of Health Sciences at Wilfrid Laurier University invites applications for a 2-year Limited Term Appointment (LTA) faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in the area of paramedicine, beginning August 1, 2026. The primary campus location for this position is Waterloo via virtual modes of delivery.

Requirements

• PhD or PhD candidate (ABD) degree
• Experience working as a paramedic
• Senior leadership experience in a municipal, provincial or territorial ambulance / paramedic / emergency medical service
• Expertise in adult education
• Experience in conducting research directly related to health and/or healthcare systems with an emphasis on paramedicine
