Job Description
The Charge Nurse position offers a one-weekend per month shift instead of weekly, similar to a weekend position. The role involves day-to-day patient management, direct patient care, leading a unit, supervising staff, and ensuring safety and compliance. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
Requirements
- Current RN or LPN Certification in the State of Connecticut required
- At least 1 year experience in Skilled Nursing facility or Hospital Setting preferred
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Knowledge of electronic medical record
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must have great organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, while being flexible and quickly adept to change
- Current CPR certification required
