People (HR) Operations Specialist

Wing is looking for a People (HR) Operations Specialist to join our team of builders. The role is hybrid based in our Palo Alto, CA office. In this role, you will be integral to the scaling and management of the people-related processes that keep Wing running smoothly.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of relevant experience working in People Operations, data management, or a related specialized area.
• Foundational knowledge in Workday, ServiceNow, Ultipro, and Google Workspace (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.).
• Experience in a startup or high-growth company environment.
• Experience managing visa processes or partnering with immigration counsel.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices, particularly multi-state compliance.
• Excellent relationship-builder with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Extremely organized, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change.
• The ability to effectively communicate regularly to peers and cross-functional partners.
• Desire to learn, grow, and think outside the box.
